Associate Finance Data Analyst (FP&A)

Role Overview: As a part of our team at a leading product development company specializing in BI & Analytics solutions, you will have the opportunity to work on creating innovative products that empower businesses with actionable insights. If you have strong fundamentals in accounting & finance and are willing to delve into data modeling tools and technologies, then this role is ideal for you. Over time, you can expect to specialize as a business/management consultant focusing on Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). Key Responsibilities: - Build and implement financial models using Power BI - Bring/Build your own data (BYOD) to create datasets for FP&A scenarios - Develop high-volume FP&A datasets on platforms like Fabric/Azure/Snowflake - Create and present end-to-end FP&A demos to customers & prospects - Assist customers in understanding product capabilities during pre-sales and onboarding discussions - Execute proof-of-concepts using FP&A data and products - Act as an internal FP&A consultant and advisor to various teams - Ensure FP&A products are functional, performant, and scalable by leveraging technical skills - Address customer enquiries through the customer success platform - Gain insights into customer expectations from FP&A products and platforms Qualification Required: - Strong fundamentals in accounting & finance - Excellent communication & presentation skills - Proficiency in Excel modeling - Data modeling expertise in Power BI; advanced skills in DAX, Power Query, M - Expert-level skills in Power BI, Power Automate, Power Platform, Microsoft Fabric - Strong foundation in data warehousing, reporting & analytics - Exceptional SQL skills (Note: This role requires working from the office location in Chennai with no Work From Home option.)
