Associate Finance Data Analyst (FP&A)

Role Overview: You will be joining a leading product development company specializing in BI & Analytics solutions. As part of the team, you will be based in Chennai, working on creating innovative products that provide businesses with actionable insights. This role offers the opportunity to grow into a business/management consultant specializing in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). Key Responsibilities: - Build and implement financial models using Power BI products - Bring/Build your own data (BYOD) to create datasets for FP&A scenarios - Configure high-volume FP&A datasets in platforms like Fabric/Azure/Snowflake - Deliver end-to-end FP&A demos to customers & prospects - Support customers during pre-sales and onboarding discussions - Implement proof-of-concepts using FP&A data and products - Act as the go-to FP&A internal consultant for various teams - Ensure FP&A products are functional, performant, and scalable - Respond to customer inquiries in the customer success platform - Develop an understanding of customer expectations from FP&A products and platforms Qualifications: - Strong fundamentals in accounting & finance - Excellent communication & presentation skills - Strong Excel modeling skills Additional Details: This role requires you to work from the office location in Chennai; no remote work is allowed. If you already have exposure to Power BI and can model the entire Contoso / Adventure Works database in Power BI, it would be a plus.
