Job Description

The Finance Associate will report to the Finance Manager and will work closely with the Membership and Partnership team. They will be responsible for handling the financial aspect of revenue reporting and other finance-related duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for generating accurate and timely invoices for clients, ensuring alignment with contracts and agreements.
• Keep Salesforce updated with all receipt information, ensuring that all financial data is accurately captured and current.
• Enter revenue data into financial accounting systems with precision, ensuring that all entries are accurate and reflect actual transactions.
• Conduct regular reconciliations between Salesforce and financial accounting systems to ensure consistency and accuracy in data across both platforms.
• Perform bank reconciliations for various accounts, ensuring all transactions are correctly recorded and reconciled.
• Assist finance manager on monthly account closing
• Assist finance manager on GST reporting
• Any other activity that is assigned to this role by the finance manager.
• Any ad hoc assignments as required from the finance team.

Requirements

• Minimum graduate in accounting or related disciplines
• 1-3 years experience in accounting (partial or full sets accounts), experience with AR preferred
• Proficient with Excel
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must be able to take initiative
• Familiarity with QuickBooks, Tally and Salesforce (added advantage)
• Interest in working in social sector
