Job Description The Senior Manager Finance role is for the AVPN group. The role will report into the group Finance Director. The candidate will get exposure to working in the social sector in Asia. The candidate will be engaged in diverse Finance activities including management accounting, financial accounting, monthly closing, taxation, statutory and internal audits, compliance, planning and budgeting, etc. The scope will include multiple entities of the group. Responsibilities Accounting, Reporting and Audit Ensure proper accounting is done through in-house team and / or outsourced partners for all entities, including: Close books on a monthly basis and generate MIS for the group. This will include budget vs actuals analysis Monthly (rolling) Cash Flow estimation report for the group Coordinate with the auditors and manage the annual audit for the India and UAE entities. The candidate will also support the audit of the other group entities as well. Ensuring invoices are generated accurately and timely and funds received are accurately processed. Ensuring payments to employees and vendors is made accurately and on time. This role is hands-on: shaping AVPN’s policy agenda in India and the rest of Asia, support the building public-private coalitions, producing policy briefs and reports that support market teams and AVPN members, convening dialogues between social investors and governments that align government priorities with the impact ecosystem. The ideal candidate is a mid-senior professional with 15+ years work experience who can both strategize and execute, someone who is equally comfortable drafting a memo for a Ministry, moderating a Policy roundtable on or advising on how to navigate regulatory shifts in the social investment landscape. With AVPN’s Global Conference 2026 coming to India, this role will be critical to supporting AVPN’s Government engagement strategy in India. The role will ideally be based in Delhi, which means the candidate will also take on the role of policy lead for India. This role reports to the Chief of Markets and Deputy CEO.
