Associate Fashion Designer (Sportswear/Techwear)

As an Associate Fashion Designer specializing in sportswear and techwear, you will be an integral part of our team, contributing to the development of our travel apparel line. Your role will involve conducting comprehensive research, identifying user pain points and market gaps, and translating these insights into innovative design solutions that prioritize functionality, comfort, and style. Your responsibilities will include staying abreast of fashion trends, sportswear and techwear innovations, and competitor analysis. You will play a key role in developing design concepts for new apparel items, creating detailed technical specifications for production, collaborating on mood boards and material selections, overseeing prototype development, and ensuring quality control throughout the production process. Additionally, you will participate in fittings, provide constructive feedback, and work closely with various teams to uphold the brand aesthetic and design consistency. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field, with 1-2 years of experience in sportswear or techwear design. A strong portfolio showcasing your work, proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, and knowledge of garment construction, patternmaking, and fabric selection are essential. Excellent communication, collaboration, and the ability to work both independently and within a team are crucial skills for success in this position.
