Associate Engineering Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, document, and maintain application features in C#.Net, MVC, .net core, ReactJs and React Native.
• Pitch ideas and test new approaches.
• Manage full life cycle of supported applications and ensure timely delivery of improvements and bug fixes
• Support application outages and resolve escalated incidents using sound incident management practices
• Analyse business requirements, processes, data and system integration points to determine/recommend appropriate technology solutions.
• Collaborating with other development teams for integration and deployment.
• Write and deliver complex code and modules to meet requirements, functional and technical specifications.
• Design, code, test, debug and implement high quality software
• Understanding of network concepts and terminology
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of architecting and developing integration projects using web services
• Ability to oversee code development and potentially participate in problem solving
• Keep pace with innovative technologies and maintain strong understanding of industry trends and best practices
• Implement build process and continuous build integration with Unit Testing framework
• Skilled in delivery, development and maintenance web-based applicati

Preferred candidate profile

• 9 to 10 years of experience in designing, developing and deploying web-based applications
• Experience in development of web-based applications using the Microsoft technology stack (C#, .NET Core)
• Experience with React Native & offline database
• Experience leading a diverse team, providing both hands-on and technical requirement.
• Demonstrable knowledge in tuning and maintaining of MS-SQL Server, stored procedures, and T-SQL
• Knowledge of Web Services integration (REST, WSDL/SOAP, XML, JSON)
• Sound understanding of Test tools usage of CI-CD pipeline, Kubernetes
• Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with coding / design patterns defining & implementing software development standards and best practices.
