Associate Electrical Engineer

As an Associate Electrical Engineer at GEA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring electrical compliance with customer specifications and meeting project deadlines. Your responsibilities will include: - Electrical Design Validation - Ensuring compliance with customer specifications - Meeting project deadlines - Handling various documentation related to electrical and instrumentations - Coordinating with the Electrical Team and providing support - Collaborating with internal customers to fulfill their requirements To qualify for this role, you should have: - A Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation & Controls or a similar field - 3-7 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer in industries such as Dairy, Food, Beverages, Brewery, Pharma, or Chemical - Proficiency in Electrical Engineering principles - In-depth knowledge of Eplan P8 Software, PLC hardware, IEC standards, and field instrumentation - Strong interpersonal communication and coordination skills - Expertise in cables/busbar calculation, component selection, heat-loss calculation, and standards compliance - Experience with field instrumentation and connections with PLC hardware Additionally, you will be responsible for tasks such as: - Electrical Loop drawings, Panel Design & Layout using EPLAN P8 - Preparation of Instrumentation & Hook-up Drawings - Designing Control Systems and configuring Industrial Network Architecture - Creating Wiring Schematics for Switchboard and Control Panels - Conducting Cable Calculations and designing Cable tray layouts - Generating Loop drawings with EPLAN P8 EEC module Languages known: - Must have proficiency in English - Good to have proficiency in Hindi Travel Requirements: - This role is based in India with limited travel required for Electrical site support and Panel FAT within India and abroad.
