As a Substation Transmission & Distribution Engineer at WSP, your primary responsibility will involve creating detailed engineering drawings for various projects including Overhead line routing layout, wire clearance diagrams, scaffold clearance check drawings, Downlead arrangement for towers, and georeferenced layout and set drawings. You will be responsible for interpreting contract documents and identifying equipment requirements within the scope of the project. You should have a general understanding of the overall process and be able to develop the I/O list based on contract P&IDs using the provided template. Additionally, you will update P&IDs based on inputs received from the process engineer, Contract Documents, or client requirements to create submittals. When it comes to field instrumentation, you will make selections based on quoted scopes, contract requirements, standardized products, and project budgets.
