Associate Director- SEO & Content Marketing

As an Associate Director of SEO & Content Marketing in the Global Student Housing/PropTech/Marketplace industry, located in Pune, you will be responsible for leading the global SEO strategy, driving organic growth, and managing a high-performance team. This role presents an exciting opportunity to take full ownership of organic channels, implement ambitious strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve impactful results in the fast-growing online accommodation and PropTech sector. Your key responsibilities will include owning and executing on-page & off-page SEO and content marketing strategies for global markets, leading, mentoring, and growing a high-performing SEO team, driving AI-powered content scaling and technical SEO improvements, collaborating with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to deliver integrated campaigns, tracking KPIs, monitoring performance, and optimizing for maximum impact, as well as staying updated with SEO trends and leveraging new technologies for growth. To be successful in this role, you should have 8-12 years of experience in SEO & content marketing, preferably in global marketplace or tech companies. You should possess expertise in keyword research, competitor analysis, and international SEO strategies, along with a strong knowledge of tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and HubSpot. Additionally, a technical understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and website architecture is required, as well as a proven track record of driving measurable growth in organic traffic. Experience in YouTube SEO is a bonus.
