Associate Director Project Management (Process Engineering Simulation Team)

As an experienced Associate Director of Project Management in the Process Engineering Simulation Team based in Pune, your role will involve leading a team to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery. Your responsibilities will include managing complete project lifecycles, providing technical leadership in process simulation, collaborating with stakeholders, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards, mentoring engineers, driving continuous improvement in project management processes, supporting proposal development, and identifying project risks with effective mitigation plans. Your qualifications should include a Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemical Engineering or Process Engineering, along with 12-18 years of experience in Process Engineering/Process Simulation. Strong hands-on expertise in Aspen HYSYS and Honeywell UniSim is necessary, as well as proven experience in Project Management of process simulation and design projects. Additionally, possessing strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills are essential. A PMP certification or equivalent is desirable, and experience working with global clients and multi-disciplinary teams is preferred. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the Process Engineering Simulation team for successful project delivery. - Manage project lifecycles from planning to delivery. - Provide technical leadership in process simulation, design, and optimization. - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. - Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. - Mentor and guide engineers on process simulation tools and methodologies. - Drive continuous improvement in project management processes. - Support proposal development, project estimation, and client presentations. - Identify project risks and develop effective mitigation plans.
