Associate Data Visualization Specialist

This role is for one of our clients in the Technology, Information, and Media industry, based in Mumbai. As an Associate Data Visualization Specialist, you will be part of the data & insights team, contributing to creating clear, interactive, and impactful visual stories that drive smarter decisions across the business. You will work collaboratively with large datasets, business users, and technical teams to develop intuitive dashboards and reports. Your role will involve transforming complex data into meaningful insights using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Azure Databricks. Your responsibilities will include creating compelling dashboards and visualizations, translating raw data into actionable insights, ensuring visual best practices, and data accuracy. You will also support data transformation tasks, work on big data analysis using Azure Databricks and PySpark, and optimize dashboard performance. Additionally, you will engage with business teams to understand data needs, provide training to non-technical stakeholders, and define success metrics. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in data visualization, business intelligence, or analytics, strong proficiency in Power BI and/or Tableau, hands-on experience with Python and PySpark, and familiarity with Azure data tools. Having a curious, self-starter attitude, strong communication skills, and a basic understanding of data governance practices will be advantageous for this role.
