Associate- Data Privacy

Role Overview: You have an exciting opportunity to join the fast-growing GCO Enablement Team at EY as an Associate VDD. Your role will be to work in the GDS Data Protection team, managing the EY Data Protection program to ensure that EY and client data are used and protected in accordance with internal policies and external regulations to mitigate network risks. Key Responsibilities: - Develop subject matter expertise on various functions and processes, interpret policies, determine necessary actions, and make recommendations based on EY guidance - Analyze issues, produce high-quality deliverables, and interact with Seniors within EY - Support all aspects of the Vendor Due Diligence Data Protection team, focusing initially on risks associated with external parties (suppliers) Qualifications Required: - Candidates with exposure and knowledge in data protection functions preferred - University graduate/post-graduate with 1-3 years of experience - Good academic background - Advanced MS Office knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Candidates with people management/team handling experience preferred - Candidates with exposure to client interaction preferred - Candidates with a recognized data protection/data privacy qualification (e.g., CIPP) or willingness to obtain the qualification within the first six months with the team preferred Additional Details: You will receive training and coaching on the job, work with a highly qualified team, and have the opportunity to interact with privacy, legal professionals, and business teams globally.
