Associate Consultant Strategy Consulting, Technology Practice

Role Overview: As an Associate Consultant at our office in Gurgaon, India, you will collaborate with consultants, senior consultants, and engagement managers to provide data-driven and analysis-rich research deliverables to derive strategic insights as per client requirements. You will be responsible for conducting in-depth secondary and primary research, applying analysis techniques, and traveling for primary research. Your role will involve supporting project/module leads, conducting extensive research, analyzing data, extracting insights, developing recommendations, and interacting seamlessly with team members to ensure high-quality strategy consulting assignments. Key Responsibilities: - Support project/module lead with understanding client requirements, problem definition, designing project approach, recommendations, etc. - Demonstrate in-depth understanding of the practice area (technology). - Conduct extensive primary and/or secondary research. - Analyze data to extract insights and identify patterns (qualitative and quantitative). - Develop proxies and triangulations for hard-to-get data points. - Analyze findings for trends, patterns, and insights to help the team arrive at solutions/recommendations. - Interact seamlessly with team members to ensure high-quality delivery. - Take complete ownership of assigned work. - Produce output in the form of PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc. - Manage vendor relationships and assist in business development activities by providing proposals, capability documents, etc. Qualifications Required: - Good business writing and verbal communication skills. - Detail-oriented with high standards for written and visual presentation of information. - Good research, analytical, and numerical skills. - Logical thought process to develop solutions. - Ability to develop strategic recommendations based on data analysis. - Proficiency in MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.). - Strong interpersonal skills to work in a time-line driven high-pressure environment. - Self-driven with a high level of motivation and energy. - Ability to proactively contribute to firm's goals and mission. - International experience will be an added advantage. Additional Company Details: The candidate should have 1-3 years of experience in roles such as Consultant for technology clients, Corporate Strategy professional in a large technology company, Research Analyst covering the technology sector, Equity Analyst covering the technology sector, or Market Intelligence/Competitor Intelligence professional in a large technology company. Preferred educational background includes a Bachelor's degree (Engineering/Commerce/Economics) from a top-tier university (such as IITs, NITs, DU, etc.) with an MBA from a top-tier B-School being preferred.,
