Associate Consultant - Strategy Consulting, Technology Practice

As an Associate Consultant at the Gurgaon office in India, you will collaborate with consultants, senior consultants, and engagement managers to provide data-driven and analysis-rich research deliverables that derive strategic insights as per client requirements. Your role will involve conducting in-depth secondary and primary research, analyzing data to extract insights, and developing proxies for difficult-to-get data points. You will be responsible for supporting project/module leads, analyzing findings, and producing output in the form of presentations and reports. Additionally, you will manage vendor relationships and assist in business development activities. **Primary Responsibilities:** - Support project/module lead in understanding client requirements, designing project approach, and making recommendations - Conduct extensive primary and/or secondary research - Analyze data to extract insights and identify patterns - Develop proxies and triangulations for hard-to-find data points - Analyze findings for trends and insights to help the team arrive at solutions - Interact seamlessly with team members to ensure high-quality strategy consulting assignments - Take complete ownership of assigned work - Produce output in the form of presentations and reports - Manage vendor relationships and assist in business development activities **Required Skills & Personal Attributes:** - Good business writing and verbal communication skills - Detail-oriented with high standards for presentation of information - Strong research, analytical, and numerical skills - Logical thought process and ability to develop solutions - Proficiency in MS Office Suite - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a high-pressure environment - Self-driven with a strong can-do attitude - Ability to contribute proactively to firm's goals and mission Your educational background should include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Commerce, or Economics from a top-tier university, such as IITs, NITs, or DU. An MBA from a top-tier B-School is preferred. Preferred experience for this role includes 1-3 years of experience in consulting for technology clients, corporate strategy in a large technology company, research analysis covering the technology sector, equity analysis in the technology sector, or market intelligence in a large technology company. International experience is considered an added advantage.
