Job Description

Position Description
The Product Owner / Functional Business Analyst will work independently under limited supervision to analyse business needs, define functional requirements, and support the development of FX trading solutions. This position directly impacts product quality and delivery within a key product stream. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the FX/Treasury domain, strong analytical capabilities, and proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Conduct detailed requirement analysis and prepare requirement documents, functional specifications, and requirement traceability matrices (RTM).
Provide functional walkthroughs to development and QA teams. Prepare BRD and FRD for client meetings and demos. Demonstrate application features to product owners/stakeholders. Act as a key contributor in Agile ceremonies oDaily Scrum updates oSprint planning oBacklog refinement oTracking and closure of open items Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and product stakeholders to ensure alignment on requirements and deliverables. Support estimation, planning, and reporting activities when required.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Education Qualification Bachelor s degree in computer science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Must-Have Skills Strong experience in FX / Treasury domain In-depth understanding of the FX trade lifecycle 10-14 years of IT Business Analysis experience Proven expertise in requirement gathering and analysis Experience writing functional specifications and use cases Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to mentor, guide, and collaborate with team members Good-to-Have Skills Hands-on experience with end-to-end functional validation Exposure to estimation, planning, task assignment, tracking, and reporting Experience interacting with onshore and client counterparts Experience working with FX statements and report requirement
