Job Description

As an Associate Consultant in the Corporate Finance - Real Estate Valuation team at KGS Deal Advisory & Strategy, you will play a crucial role in executing real estate valuation engagements. Your responsibilities will include: - Participating in the execution of real estate valuation engagements. - Supervising the internal valuation support cycles for audit teams. - Interfacing with third-party appraisal firms and advisors to engage and facilitate external valuations and reviews. - Supporting audit teams in responding to questions and providing supporting documentation for valuation parameters. - Performing analysis of general market conditions for real estate assets across different asset classes like residential, office, retail, industrial, data centres, etc. - Producing and analyzing financial models and assessing commercial data that underlie financial forecasts. - Being responsible for the high-quality timely delivery of projects independently. - Working closely with Managers/Senior Managers on client management, practice development, and business development activities. - Building strong brand equity with onshore stakeholders. Qualifications required for this role: - Excellent academic background preferably with a degree in real estate, accounting, business, finance, economics, or mathematics. - Ideally 1 - 2 years of relevant valuation experience acquired within the valuation practice of an accounting and/or professional services firm. - Strong grasp of real assets valuation concepts; proficiency in business valuation is a plus. - Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, presentation/report writing skills, combined with a good understanding of business dynamics and commercial value drivers. - Self-motivated individual who can operate within a team environment and understands challenges within a real estate valuation context. - Ability to work independently, develop good relationships with senior management and Partners, and operate effectively within a team environment. - Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills; flexible and adaptable team player; resourceful in delivering high-quality work. - Ability to multi-task and handle pressure situations.,
