Job Description

As an experienced Administrator, you will independently manage the QAD landscape for YASH Technologies" office in Pune, India. Your main responsibilities will include working on QAD support and projects alongside other Admins and a team of QAD Dev team located onsite and offshore. You will ensure the efficient and secure operation of QAD environment, progress databases, and systems by managing core QAD DBA activities, Progress DBA, QAD NetUI, QXTEND, and technical issues. Additionally, you are expected to monitor the QAD environment and systems proactively to ensure high availability, as well as have a good understanding of Database AI & BI files working. Key Responsibilities: - Possessing 3 to 5 years of QAD and Progress products technical experience, including RDBMS concepts and Progress DBA tasks - Hands-on experience in end-to-end management of the QAD Landscape - Installing QAD Financial patch & add-on tools, i19 add-on package, and upgrading YAB & add-on tools - Good knowledge of Unix and Linux - Managing database physical aspects such as DBMS setup, backups, schema addition, and more - Collaborating with the QAD Development team in Schema management and resolving assigned Incidents & tasks within SLAs - Creating performance analysis reports and working on database refreshes and other DBA tasks Qualification Required: - Graduation or Post Graduation Additional Details: At YASH Technologies, you will have the opportunity to work on QAD 2017 EE and gain exposure beyond QAD systems to TMS.
