Associate Category - Pricing

As a Category Associate at Meesho, you will be part of a dynamic team focused on solving a unique problem in the e-commerce landscape. We are dedicated to designing e-commerce solutions for the Next Billion Users, specifically targeting users from Tier-2+ markets who are new to online transactions. Our diverse category teams work tirelessly to democratize internet commerce for everyone, ensuring that we remain the top shopping destination for Bharat users. In this role, you will be responsible for scaling up suppliers" businesses, expanding selection, and ensuring competitive prices within your category. You will work closely with a team of Key Account Managers, advocating Meesho's values and principles, and collaborating with central teams to enhance selection and platform discovery. Your strong analytical skills and leadership abilities will be crucial in setting up and improving business processes, ensuring that the team delivers exceptional performance consistently. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include mentoring and providing direction to your team, defining goals and metrics for success, developing efficient execution processes, and communicating priorities effectively with stakeholders. You will need to be comfortable with challenges, drive higher efficiency and outcomes, and use data-driven insights to make strategic decisions that align with the company's overall goals. To excel in this role, you should have a BE/B.Tech degree, 1-3 years of overall experience with at least 1+ years in leading teams, and experience in fast-paced environments, preferably with startups. Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for data analysis, strategic thinking, and excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. Your ability to lead a team, manage stakeholders, and think both strategically and tactically will be key to your success.
