We are looking for a Consultant to join our team.The Client Advisory Services team is a rapidly growing team, where we partner with our clients to perform accounting and technology services. Some of our services include outsourced accounting, financial statement close assistance, virtual controller/CFO services, and accounting technology solution developmentA Client Advisory Associate assumes responsibility for developing their accounting, technical and soft skills; developing the ability to work on multiple projects; understanding the fundamentals of executing diligent client service; learning the work tools used in executing client work; and getting oriented to the Firm's practices, policies, and culture.

Tasks

• Demonstrates ability to work on engagements with the assistance of senior staff in performing accounting services for client, including but not limited to:
• Preparing and/or assisting with the reconciliation of accounts (bank, credit card, prepaids, liabilities, payroll, etc.)
• Calculating accruals, prepaid expenses, deferred revenues, etc.
• Recording journal entries.
• Preparation and/or assisting with the workpapers to support financial statements.
• Preparing and/or assisting with the preparation of financial statements and client reports.
• Performs thorough self-review of all work prior to submission for final review
• Develops proficiency in use of all technology necessary for performance and execution of work.
• Ensures quality control procedures are being followed and executed.
• Maintains positive client and colleague relationships.
• Positively represents and actively promotes the Firm.
• Proactively seeks knowledge, new tasks, and responsibilities.
  

Required Skills And Expertise

• Accounting Degree. (B.Com., (General) or B. Com., (A&F))
• Ability to work on the corporate accounting processes and procedures such as cash management, AR/AP, month end close, payroll and benefits.
• Communication and presentation skills.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.
• Action-oriented (self-starter, team player, detail-oriented).
• Must be able to handle multiple priorities and effectively meet critical deadlines.
• Understanding of financial statement preparation and analysis.
