Associate Application Test Analyst

Roles & Responsibilities

• Test Case Design & Execution:

  You will design and develop functional and regression test cases for

  Salesforce-based systems

  , including

  Lightning components

  , custom objects, and workflows. You will also implement structured testing phases, such as

  Operational Qualification (OQ)

  and

  System Integration Testing (SIT)

  .

• Defect Management & Reporting:

  You will log, track, and prioritize defects in

  HP ALM

  (or a similar tool), linking them to corresponding test cases. You will work with the development team for resolution, perform re-tests, and confirm defect closure.

• Compliance & Documentation:

  You will capture and upload test evidence, screenshots, and logs to

  HP ALM

  , ensuring all test steps are properly documented for

  CSV

  and regulatory compliance. You'll also ensure all testing activities are fully traceable and audit-ready.

• Collaboration:

  You will work closely with

  Salesforce

  developers, business analysts, and administrators to validate system behavior after deployments and patch releases. You will also participate in

  Agile/Scrum

  ceremonies and support

  User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

  .

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree with 0-3 years of experience or a Diploma with 4-7 years of experience in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

• Must-Have Skills:

• Hands-on experience in designing, executing, and documenting

  manual test cases

  , specifically for

  Salesforce-based systems

  .
• Proficiency in using

  HP ALM

  (or equivalent tools) for test planning, execution, and defect management.
• Experience performing manual test scripts related to roles/profiles, data security, UI consistency, and

  Salesforce

  business workflows.

• Good-to-Have Skills:

• Experience testing in regulated healthcare or pharmaceutical domains.
• Familiarity with writing and maintaining

  Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTMs)

  and

  OQ

  protocols.

• Professional Certifications:

• ISTQB Foundation or Advanced Level Certification

  is preferred.

• SAFe Agile or Scrum Certification

  is also a plus.
