About the Team The Dropship Team, focuses on Provide the customer the most compelling Direct To Customer experience in home improvement by developing and maintaining a strong vendor network and supplier partnership within the Digital Commerce space. Job Summary: The Dropship Associate Analyst role focuses on driving medium-to long term improvements within Drop Ship business performance. Functions of the role include Managing vendor engagement via outbound and inbound communication, generating vendor data analysis, drive Supplier On-time and Fill Rate performance, and building relationships with vendors and other key cross functional stakeholders within Lowe’s. This associate will work cross-functionally with multiple technical and operational teams within the Lowe’s organization. Good analytics and process improvement skills are necessary, and will be required in order to identify trends in vendor performance and continuously drive improvements to business performance. Core Responsibilities: Drives vendor relationship management for assigned business areas, reviewing vendor performance, engaging with vendors to drive performance across key metrics such as OTIF, cancellations, Returns and Order ageing. Own and Drive operational processes around vendor performance, actionables and related metrics. Analyze data, understand trends within the data and provide valuable and actionable insights regarding the data Execute defined strategic initiatives to improve supplier performance Execute proactive strategy to drive inventory availability and supplier engagement Assist Senior Members and management with special projects and process improvements Liaise between core teams at Lowe’s Merchandising, Digital, Technology, Supply Chain and Accounting team to ensure resolve vendor issues quickly Partners with core teams at Lowe’s and within the Merchandising, Supply Chain planning and Replenishment to improve vendor performance and provide teams with data and metrics to ensure vendor performance is considered in business decisions (i.e. Product Line Reviews) Daily, weekly communication with vendors in effort to drive ship on time improvements and reduce cancellations III. Years of Experience: Bachelor’s Degree; Business or Related Field Freshers up to 2 years relevant experience OR Relevant work experience in retail merchandising, inventory planning, vendor performance management, assortment planning or forecasting roles Required Minimum Qualifications : Bachelor’s Degree BBA, Bcom, Operations Research or Related Field Primary Skills (must have) Experience working with Excel and other data/reporting tools Excellent writing and communication skills, including the ability to develop analytical documents for presentation to management Excellent problem-solving and time management skills Understanding of core supply chain principles Digital/Retail Merchandising or Business Operations Experience
