As an Associate Analyst/ Analyst in the Independence - Risk Management Services team at EY, your role involves conducting research and executing global Independence processes aligned with EY Global (EYG) policies to safeguard EY's independence. Your responsibilities include monitoring professionals" financial relationships, identifying and reporting potential conflicts of interest with audit clients, and providing support to EY professionals on various Independence-related topics. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop a working knowledge of Personal Independence concepts such as financial interests, family relations, and business relationships - Execute procedures outlined in EYG Independence policies, conduct research, and update EY tools and databases to monitor family and financial relationships - Communicate with EY professionals and senior team members to resolve queries and gather information - Build understanding of financial products and markets, perform research on financial interests and family relationships of EY professionals, and collaborate with project managers for timely completion of work - Participate in team discussions, service functions, and organization-wide initiatives - Work towards meeting and exceeding defined individual KPIs - Be diligent, hardworking, highly motivated, result-oriented, and willing to learn quickly **Qualifications Required:** - Masters/post-graduate degree (preferably in Finance) from a reputed institute - 0-1 year of experience in research and analysis in a professional services firm - Well-developed analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills in English - Basic understanding of financial products like equities, mutual funds, pension plans, insurance policies, etc. - Experience in MS Office suites like Outlook, MS Excel, Word, SharePoint, etc. As part of the RMS Independence team at EY, you will have the opportunity to contribute to EY's reputation as an independent auditor and work closely with professionals to mitigate personal independence-related risks.
