Assistant/Associate Professor (Mathematics Department)

Minimum Qualifications

• Educational Background:
• M.Sc. (Mathematics) – Mandatory
• B.Sc. (Mathematics) – Mandatory
• Ph.D. in Mathematics – Preferred

Experience

• Minimum 8+ years of teaching and/or research experience in Mathematics.
• Industry/research exposure in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or Data Science will be an advantage.

Areas of Expertise

• Pure Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, and Statistics.
• Linear Algebra, Calculus, Differential Equations, Real/Complex Analysis.
• Probability & Statistics, Operations Research, Numerical Methods.
• Exposure to Mathematical Modelling, Data Science, or Computational Tools (MATLAB, R, Python) preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate Mathematics courses.
• Deliver lectures, tutorials, and problem-solving sessions effectively.
• Supervise student projects, dissertations, and academic research.
• Develop innovative teaching-learning methodologies and ICT-based tools.
• Conduct and publish research in reputed national/international journals.
• Contribute to curriculum design, departmental activities, and academic growth initiatives.
• Mentor and guide students for higher education, research, and career opportunities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
