Assistant Video Editor

We’re looking for a Assistant Video Editor to join our team and make a real impact on our brand’s online presence! Responsibilities:

- Creating visually engaging and impactful videos that align with the brand name.

- Deliver high quality video content for advertising campaigns, social media and other marketing materials.

- Brainstorm and contribute ideas for campaigns and social media strategies.

- Adding effects, colour grading, sound mixing and transitions to ensure a seamless final product.

- Ensure all videos content is optimized for the platforms on which it is to be displayed (Youtube, Instagram, Facebook, Google Ads, etc)

- Assist in the creation of social media content, including graphics, captions, and stories.

- Understand and incorporate our brand voice and style into all content.

- Research social media trends and keep up with industry best practices.

- Provide insights and suggestions for improving our social media presence.

Requirements

- Current enrollment in 3rd or 4th year of a college program (or a recent graduate), preferably in Film and Media.

- Pass out from Arena Multimedia, Maac, Etc

- Basic understanding of social media platforms and interest in social media marketing.

- Strong written communication and creative skills.

- Familiarity with social media tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Instagram Insights, Facebook Analytics) is a plus.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Proficiency in video editing softwares (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Da Vinci Resolve)

- Basic motion graphics and after effects.

- Strong understanding of video codecs, formats and resolution management.

- Sound design and audio mixing skills.

- Experience with animation.

- Understanding of VFX.

Hours & Benefits:

- Mon to Sat 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM.
