Assistant Vice President - IT Network Security Operations

As an Assistant Vice President - IT Network Security Operations at MCX, your role will involve leading a technical team with 15-17 years of experience in Network and Security, focusing on Firewall, Load balancer, Proxy, VPN, SSLO, WAF, NAC, Routing and Switching. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading a 24x7 technical team in the management of Network Security events and incidents - Providing strategic directions for security posture improvements - Identifying key contacts for incident escalation and change management activities - Ensuring compliance to SLA and process adherence for operational objectives - Executing a long-term network and security architectural roadmap aligned with business objectives - Establishing and enforcing governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks - Managing team and vendor resources effectively - Coordinating incident response activities with internal teams for timely resolution - Overseeing the installation of application patches and software updates - Conducting periodic assessments of operational issues and potential problems - Creating executive-level reports for high-severity incidents - Reviewing and addressing violations of organizational security policy - Participating in on-call duties as necessary Qualifications required for this role include: - Graduation from a recognized university & institute; candidates with a Masters degree will have an added advantage - 14-17 years of experience in Network and Security, with expertise in products like Checkpoint, PaloAlto, Radware, Forcepoint, Array, Cisco, Juniper - Experience with wireshark, TCP dump analysis - Experience in the banking, NBFC, trading industry preferred - Experience in management, IT Operation, ITIL framework, agile project management, and leadership At MCX, we believe in providing exciting and challenging career opportunities for ambitious professionals like you, who are willing to climb the ladder of success.
