Assistant Vice President, Investment Product Manager, Consumer Banking Group

In this role at DBS Consumer Banking Group, you will play a crucial part in growing income from Mutual fund distribution business and Asset under Management (AUMs) for the Bank. Your responsibilities will include: - Growing income from Mutual fund distribution business (trail revenue) and Asset under Management (AUMs) in alignment with budgets. - Conceptualizing innovative products to generate investment income. - Coordinating with the regional team for new product approval and providing updates on various business metrics. - Conducting regular reviews of existing Mutual Fund schemes and contributing to the Fund selection process. - Preparing effective product updates for stakeholders. - Creating product awareness through campaigns and providing product training to branches and relationship managers. - Driving Mutual Fund penetration and increasing awareness and activation across channels through marketing and promotion campaigns. - Ensuring timely roll-out of cross-sell campaigns and providing support to branches for resolving queries. - Collaborating with the regional and local Marketing team to drive digital guidance and Investment literacy initiatives. - Ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and streamlining processes for process improvements. In terms of requirements, you will need to focus on the following areas: Sales Management: - Ensuring achievement of FY budget in investment and monitoring RMs business productivity and process compliance. - Collaborating with Business Analytics team to explore new business growth opportunities. - Supporting Investment counselors with inputs on Products, market, strategic initiatives, MIS, and operational aspects. - Initiating and implementing Marketing campaigns targeting existing and prospective customers for cross-sell, upsell, and business relationship strengthening. - Driving sales volume by increasing financial and non-financial transactions and SIP transactions through digital assets. - Monitoring sales channel and performance for better outcomes, conducting training modules, and managing end-to-end MIS for sales and processes. Product Management: - Managing demat, ASBA, and other products launched for Treasures customers. - Identifying process improvement opportunities and implementing best practices. - Integrating within the organization, building projects, and creating cross-functional ties. - Improving sales and operational journeys for enhanced conversion and customer experience. Communication Management: - Organizing and running sales campaigns, D2C communication, and marketing campaigns through digital and offline initiatives. - Setting up investments in phone banking and VRM channels. Other activities: - Liaising with Legal, Compliance, Marketing, and IT teams for timely regulatory changes. - Launching NFO/Product and driving end-to-end process implementation. - Registering and executing legal agreements with the help of legal and compliance teams. - Working with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and manage escalations and data changes. - Fulfilling audit requirements and providing tech support to the sales team regarding digital assets. Measurement criteria for success in this role include: - Revenue achievement. - Timely roll-out of cross-sell campaigns. - Timely resolution of branch and customer queries. - Branch support through channels. Additionally, the core competencies required for this role are strong communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills.
