Job Description

As an Assistant Vice President, Cloud and Software Architect at Genpact, your role involves designing, developing, and implementing technical solutions. You will define and lead technical design methodologies, processes, technologies, and standards to ensure product design and architecture align with the technical framework and support rapid growth. Your responsibilities include: - Defining and leading technical design methodologies, processes, technologies, and standards. - Ensuring product design and architecture fit into the technical architectural framework for rapid growth. - Bringing industry best practices to create a strategic company product roadmap. - Mentoring engineering team members and providing guidance. - Informing top management on technical capabilities and future direction. - Collaborating with internal teams to build an efficient engineering environment. - Researching future technologies and product architecture. - Participating in peer reviews of solution designs and related code. - Engaging in hands-on development and problem-solving. - Working with stakeholders to create a roadmap supporting evolving products. Qualifications we seek in you: Minimum Qualifications: - Proven experience in software development and architecture in product-based companies. - Strong knowledge of design patterns and enterprise architectural patterns. - Extensive experience with core Microsoft .NET technologies. - Proficiency in C# and understanding of internals and language features. - Experience with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure, AWS, and GCP. - Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools. - Experience with relational and non-relational databases. - Understanding of RESTful services and API design. - Experience with message brokers. - Familiarity with Scrum and Agile methodologies. - Fluent in spoken and written English. Advantages: - Experience with additional cloud platforms like AWS and GCP. - Previous experience with high-performance distributed systems. - Familiarity with modern software development tools and practices. - Contribution to open-source projects. - Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
