Job Description

Inventory Management: The store incharge is responsible for maintaining proper inventory levels, ensuring that products are well-stocked and readily available for customers. This includes tracking stock levels, placing orders with suppliers, and managing the replenishment process.

Visual Merchandising: Creating appealing and organized displays to attract customers and maximize sales. The store incharge arranges products, sets up promotional materials, and ensures that the store's layout is visually appealing.

Customer Service: Providing exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints. The store incharge trains and leads the store staff to deliver excellent customer experiences.

Staff Management: Hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising store staff. The store incharge assigns tasks, sets performance expectations, and ensures that employees adhere to company policies and procedures.

Sales and Revenue Generation: Setting sales targets and goals, monitoring sales performance, and implementing strategies to increase revenue. This may involve upselling, cross-selling, and implementing promotions or discounts.

Financial Management: Managing the store's budget, tracking expenses, and ensuring that financial goals are met. The store incharge may also be responsible for handling cash, processing transactions, and managing cash registers.

Security and Loss Prevention: Implementing security measures to prevent theft, vandalism, and fraud. This includes monitoring surveillance systems, training staff on loss prevention techniques, and ensuring a safe shopping environment.

Compliance: Ensuring the store operates in compliance with local laws, regulations, and company policies. This includes safety standards, labor laws, and product regulations.

Reporting: Providing regular reports to higher management on sales performance, inventory levels, customer feedback, and other relevant metrics. The store incharge analyzes these reports to make informed decisions.

Promotions and Marketing: Collaborating with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional events, sales campaigns, and other marketing initiatives to attract and retain customers.

Problem Solving: Handling unexpected challenges and resolving issues that arise in the store. This could involve addressing staffing concerns, technical issues, or customer disputes.

Product Knowledge: Staying informed about the products sold in the store to provide accurate information to customers and assist with purchasing decisions.

Adapting to Trends: Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, customer preferences, and market changes to adjust store strategies accordingly.

Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensuring the store's cleanliness and proper organization to create an inviting shopping environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Bahadurgarh, Haryana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
