Job Title: Assistant Sales Manager

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Assistant Sales Manager to drive sales and business development in the spices segment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FMCG sales, dealer/distributor management, and territory expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
• Manage existing distributors/retailers and onboard new channel partners.
• Conduct regular market visits to monitor performance and identify growth opportunities.
• Track competitor activity and suggest counter-strategies.
• Coordinate with marketing and production teams to ensure product availability and visibility.
• Submit regular sales reports and forecasts to the senior management.
• Train and supervise junior sales staff if required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
• 3–5 years of proven sales experience, preferably in the spices or FMCG sector.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Strong local market knowledge of Kerala, especially Kochi and surrounding areas.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
