(MBA in Marketing preferred but not mandatory)

Job Summary:

Assistant Manager – Sales

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in pharmaceutical machinery (e.g., tablet press, granulation equipment, coating machines, blister packing, etc.)
  
• Manage the complete sales cycle – from lead generation to order finalization
  
• Conduct technical and commercial presentations to clients
  
• Understand customer requirements and suggest appropriate machine configurations
  
• Coordinate with internal teams (design, production, service) to ensure timely proposals and deliveries
  
• Participate in domestic and international trade fairs/exhibitions
  
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide after-sales support coordination
  
• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall revenue growth
  
• Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and market intelligence
  

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of pharma machinery and capital equipment sales
  
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  
• Understanding of pharma manufacturing processes and compliance requirements
  
• Techno-commercial acumen to handle client queries and pricing discussions
  
• Proficient in MS Office, CRM tools, and ERP systems
  
• Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings and industry events
  

Preferred Candidates:

• Prior experience with OEMs in the pharma machinery domain
  
• Familiarity with pharma industry clients in India and/or international markets
  
• Self-motivated with a result-oriented approach
