Job Description

As a Project Manager for Fire Protection and Alarm Services, your key responsibilities will include: - Planning and monitoring all works, identifying risks, proposing mitigations, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. - Coordinating with Design Consultants to ensure deliverables of all Fire Protection and Alarm services, including coordination drawings and SLD, Schematic drawings. - Collecting Shop drawings from vendors for respective packages, validating them with FIRE PROTECTION AND ALARM SERVICES consultants, and issuing them to contractors for execution. - Obtaining work method statements from respective FIRE PROTECTION AND ALARM SERVICES packages from contractors and getting them approved by consultants. - Executing and monitoring all FIRE PROTECTION AND ALARM SERVICES related work. - Setting up the MEP Quality Manual and Inspection Testing Plan. - Ensuring all MIRs are certified before use on-site, and consultants" representatives have also signed. - Setting up Documentation Process for all services equipment. - Tracking FIRE PROTECTION AND ALARM SERVICES materials delivery and maintaining a long lead items delivery tracker. - Monitoring construction measures to ensure conformity with the Design (GFC drawings) and bills of quantities. - Participating in testing and commissioning activities of services and maintaining testing certificates, checklists, etc. - Verifying, evaluating, and implementing accompanying changes to the works and recommending them to the client for approval. - Obtaining relevant O & M documents, guarantees, and warranties. - Ensuring a smooth handover of FIRE PROTECTION AND ALARM SERVICES packages. Qualifications required: - BE/ BTech in Mechanical - Minimum of 8 years of experience - Specific skills or certifications: Experience in working on FIRE PROTECTION AND ALARM SERVICES projects with both high side and low side for commercial projects.
