Assistant Project Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in coordinating all aspects of high-rise construction projects from

  initiation through completion

  .
• Monitor construction progress, assist in schedule management, and report on project milestones and risks.
• Responsible for supervising site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure timely and quality completion of work as per project schedule.
• The candidate should have hands on experience in

  billing, costing and estimation

  .
• Participate in site meetings and interface with contractors, consultants, and clients.
  
• Review drawings, specifications, and contracts for accuracy and compliance.
  
• Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment; assist with vendor selection and subcontractor management.
  
• Track project costs and assist with

  budget management.

• Maintain project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, daily reports, meeting minutes, and punch lists.
  
• Ensure site safety practices are enforced and that regulatory compliance is upheld.
  
• Support quality control processes and conduct routine site inspections.
  
• Assist in closeout activities, including final inspections, occupancy certifications, and turnover documentation.
• Proficient in construction management software such as Primavera , MS Project, AutoCAD, and MS Excel for scheduling, tracking, and reporting.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems and construction scheduling tools for effective

  resource planning
