Assistant Project Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Prepare detailed engineering documents, and technical comparisons of bought-out items.
• Prepare piping BOQ, Valve BOQ.
• Review equipment layouts, P&ID drawings, plant layouts, and equipment GA drawings.
• Prepare pre-commissioning & commissioning checklists for mechanical systems.
• Provide technical expertise in pressure vessel process design, with knowledge of distillation columns, heat exchangers, reactors, receivers, storage tanks, and pumps.
• Experience in Equipment erection and Piping, piping routing & isometric design and trouble shooting skills.
• Coordinate with vendors for fabrication, delivery, and inspection of mechanical equipment (vessels, heat exchangers, pumps, compressors, valves, etc.).
• Plan, manage, and execute commissioning activities for multipurpose distillation units, evaporators, dryers, and related systems.
• Track project schedules, material status, and progress reports.
• Provide training and technical support to maintenance and operations teams, as well as client personnel.
• Prepare project documentation, and commissioning/handover reports.
• Familiarity with ASME, API, IS codes for design and testing.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
• Prepare Specification of valves and piping.
