Job Overview:

The Pharmacy Faculty member will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or graduate pharmacy students in a variety of courses related to pharmacy practice, pharmaceutical sciences, and healthcare. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, a passion for teaching, and a commitment to fostering student success and professional development.

Eligibility Criteria / Qualifications:

A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.

A Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related field is preferred but not required.

Master's Degree Mandatory

Key Responsibility:

Teaching:

Deliver high-quality lectures, labs, and seminars in the areas of pharmacology, pharmaceutics, medicinal chemistry, pharmacy law, and clinical pharmacy.

Prepare course materials, assignments, and exams in alignment with the curriculum.

Mentor and guide students in academic and professional development.

Research:

Engage in scholarly research within the field of pharmacy, contributing to the development of new knowledge and practices.

Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at academic conferences.

Academic Advising:

Provide academic advising to students, assisting with course selection, career planning, and professional development.

Advise and supervise students in research projects and internships.

Professional Development:

Participate in ongoing professional development through workshops, seminars, and other educational opportunities.

Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in pharmacy and healthcare.

Committee Work:

Participate in departmental, college, and university committees, contributing to curriculum development and accreditation processes.

Community Outreach:

Develop and maintain partnerships with hospitals, pharmacies, and other healthcare organizations for internships, clinical placements, and community engagement Department on Contractual or Visiting terms
