Assistant Professor | PhD Guidance, Patents & Industry Research – Centre for Applied Research

The Centre for Applied Research is seeking an Assistant Professor to strengthen its academic and innovation ecosystem. The role involves contributing to the PhD research process, managing IPR and patent-related activities, and driving industry-oriented research and consultancy projects.

We are inviting applications for the position of Assistant Professor at the Centre for Applied Research. The role is designed for academically strong and research-driven professionals who can contribute to the Ph.D. process (guidance, evaluation, and academic support), Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) management, and industry-oriented research & consultancy projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mentor and support Ph.D. scholars through research supervision, proposal evaluation, and academic guidance.
• Facilitate IPR processes including patents, copyrights, and technology transfer.
• Drive applied and industrial research collaborations, translating academic work into consultancy and funded projects.
• Publish in high-quality journals and actively contribute to the Centre’s research output.
• Participate in academic committees, workshops, and knowledge dissemination initiatives at the University level.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Ph.D. in relevant discipline (Engineering, Sciences, Management, or Applied domains).
• Strong publication record (Scopus/SCI-indexed).
• Experience in Ph.D. supervision, IPR activities, and industrial consultancy/research projects preferred.
• Excellent communication and networking skills with ability to work across disciplines.
