• Delivering lectures, seminars, and discussions on various sociological theories, methods, and topics to undergraduate and potentially graduate students
• Designing course materials, syllabi, and educational content aligned with the department's objectives and advancements in political science.
• Engaging in research projects, publishing scholarly articles, papers, or books, and presenting findings at academic conferences within the field of political science.
• Advising and guiding students in their research projects, theses, or dissertations at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Participating in departmental meetings, contributing to academic committees, and assisting in administrative tasks as required.
• Demonstrated research achievements, such as publications in reputable journals and evidence of ongoing or potential research projects.
• Teaching experience or a strong potential for effective instruction in various political subjects
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey political concepts, theories, and methodologies effectively.

Educational Qualification:

• Ph.D. Degree in Political Science is desirable.
• A Master’s Degree in Political Science (or an equivalent grade in a point scale).
• Must have cleared the NET (National Eligibility Test) conducted by the UGC.
• Research focus aligned with the department's expertise.
