Job Title : Hostel Warden Location : KMC College of Law, Tirupur Reports to : College Administration Job Summary : The Hostel Warden will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the college hostel, ensuring the safety, discipline, and welfare of the students. This role requires effective management skills and a strong sense of responsibility. Key Responsibilities : Supervision & Discipline : Ensure discipline and compliance with hostel rules and regulations. Take necessary action in case of any violation of rules. Safety & Security : Maintain the security and safety of the students by overseeing hostel access and ensuring adherence to safety protocols, including regular checks and monitoring. Student Welfare : Act as the first point of contact for students regarding personal or accommodation issues. Facilities Management : Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of hostel facilities. Report any maintenance issues promptly and ensure repairs are carried out in a timely manner. Health & Hygiene : Ensure that health and hygiene standards are maintained in all hostel areas, including dining and common rooms. Respond to medical emergencies as required. Attendance & Record Keeping : Maintain an updated record of student attendance in the hostel, keep track of leave requests, and ensure students follow the curfew and entry-exit timings. Coordination : Coordinate with college administration, housekeeping staff, and security personnel to ensure smooth functioning of the hostel. Counseling & Conflict Resolution : Provide informal counseling to students when necessary and mediate any conflicts between residents. Emergency Handling : Be available for any emergencies and take necessary action to address any issues in a prompt and efficient manner.
