Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Professor of Animation & Game Design located in Mohali. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for developing and delivering course content in the field of animation and game design, mentoring students, conducting research, and staying updated with the latest industry trends. Additional duties include participating in departmental meetings, contributing to curriculum development, and engaging with industry stakeholders to enhance the educational experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Animation, Game Design, or a related field
• Software knowledge- 3Ds Max, 3D Maya, Unreal Engine and Unity.
• Strong foundation in Animation techniques, Game Design, and 3D Modeling
• Proficiency in industry-standard software like Maya, Unity, Blender, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience in curriculum development and instructional design for higher education
• Excellent teaching and communication skills with a focus on student mentorship
• Proven research skills and the ability to publish in reputable journals
• Ability to collaborate with industry professionals and integrate real-world practices into the classroom
