Job Summary:

SR Group of Institutions, Jhansi is looking for dynamic and qualified individuals with an M.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering for the role of Assistant Professor. The selected candidate will contribute to undergraduate teaching, academic mentoring, and active participation in departmental development and research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach core and elective courses in Electrical Engineering to B.Tech students (e.g., Power Systems, Electrical Machines, Control Systems, Power Electronics, etc.).
• Prepare lesson plans, lecture materials, and laboratory manuals aligned with the university curriculum.
• Supervise laboratory sessions and guide students in practical work and mini-projects.
• Assess students through internal tests, assignments, and semester evaluations.
• Participate in the development and implementation of academic programs and activities.
• Guide and mentor students in their academic and professional development.
• Engage in departmental committees, technical events, seminars, and workshops.
• Stay updated with recent advancements and incorporate innovative teaching techniques.
• Contribute to the institution’s research, publications, and consultancy goals (desirable).

Required Skills & Competencies:

• In-depth knowledge of core Electrical Engineering subjects.
• Familiarity with teaching tools, smart classrooms, and e-learning platforms.
• Proficiency in simulation and design software (e.g., MATLAB, ETAP, Multisim, PSCAD).
• Strong communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
• Enthusiastic about teaching, learning, and academic excellence.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and teamwork.
