Role Description

This is an on-site, full-time role for an Assistant Professor in the Electrical Engineering Department, specifically serving diploma students. The role involves teaching courses, preparing lesson plans, mentoring students, conducting lab sessions, and assisting in departmental research activities. The Assistant Professor will also be responsible for evaluating student performance, guiding projects, and ensuring high-quality academic standards. The position is based in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Electrical Engineering and Power Systems concepts, with the ability to effectively teach and mentor diploma students.
• Basic knowledge of interdisciplinary areas for integrating modern technology into teaching methodologies.
• Familiarity with research methodologies and a demonstrated ability to contribute to academic or applied research in relevant fields.
• Possession of effective communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
• Master’s or higher degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, and prior teaching or industry experience is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year teaching experience is essential.
