Assistant Professor in Computer Science

The Department of Computer Science at RIMT University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position starting . We are seeking a dynamic and innovative scholar committed to excellence in teaching, research, and service. All areas of computer science will be considered, with preference for candidates in [e.g., Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or Software Engineering]

Key Responsibilities

• Teaching:
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in computer science.
• Develop and revise curriculum and course materials.
• Supervise undergraduate and graduate research projects and theses.
• Research:
• Establish and maintain an active, externally funded research program.
• Publish scholarly work in high-quality peer-reviewed venues.
• Collaborate with faculty and industry partners on interdisciplinary research.
• Service:
• Serve on departmental, college, and university committees.
• Contribute to community engagement and outreach activities.
• Participate in academic advising and student mentorship.

Required Qualifications

• Masters in Computer Sciences Engineering and B. Tech in Computer Sciences.
• Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching and scholarly research.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
