Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Professor located in Roorkee. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for delivering lectures, conducting research, publishing papers, mentoring students, and contributing to curriculum development. Additionally, the role includes participating in faculty meetings, collaborating on departmental projects, and engaging in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Strong instructional skills, including the ability to deliver engaging lectures and facilitate student discussions
• Proficiency in conducting and publishing academic research
• Experience in curriculum development and academic program planning
• Skills in mentoring and advising students
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to departmental projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ph.D. in a relevant field is preferred
• Prior teaching experience at the university level is an advantage
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current in their field
