Aalim Muhammed Salegh Academy of Architecture, established in the academic year 2011-2012, is a standalone institute dedicated to imparting architectural education. The institution is known for its commitment to excellence in teaching and fostering innovation in the field of architecture.

Role Description

This is an on-site, full-time role for an Assistant Professor for Structures (ME in Civil) at our Tiruvallur campus. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for delivering lectures, guiding students in their academic projects, and conducting research in the field of structural engineering. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and conducting classes, evaluating student performances, and staying updated with the latest advancements in civil engineering and architecture. The role also involves participating in curriculum development and contributing to faculty meetings and committees.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge in structural engineering and civil engineering principles
  • Experience in teaching and academic mentorship
  • Research skills and publications in related fields
  • Proficiency in using design and analysis software relevant to civil engineering
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
  • A Master's degree (ME) in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structures
  • Experience in architecture education is a plus
