Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager- Production

• Follow the cGMP requirement with appropriate housekeeping and documentation in manufacturing area.
• Follow the EHS requirement during production activity.
• Responsible for issuing the work permit to service department.
• Making the shift schedule.
• Ensuring the safe handling of hazardous chemical and smooth plant operation.
• Achieving plant production target w.r.t quality and yield.
• Work with cross-functional team to meet the departmental Goals & objectives.
• Ensure the systems, procedures and practices are followed for the smooth start-up of operation and execution of production plan.
• Assist in preparation and approval of all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Work Instructions (WI), and manufacturing batch records for manufacturing.
• Assist in timely installation, commissioning and validation of all the equipments in the plant.
• Ensure timely execution of pre-validation and validation batches and co-ordinates effectively with the R & D team for technology transfer of the products.
• Ensure all completed manufacturing batch records are reviewed in time for completeness and compliance with cGMP requirements and regulatory requirements.
• Ensuring all on-line documents are maintained well.
• Performs managerial duties including production plan scheduling, execution, prioritizing, training, online documentation, performance evaluation and disciplinary action.
• Ensure optimum inventory levels for archiving cost saving without hampering the production process and preparing reports for the same.
• Meeting all the delivery schedules for the products as committed in the plan Co-ordination with R&D, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Engineering and warehouse functions to ensure compliance to the committed plan.
• Maintaining and up keeping the areas as per the cGMP and regulatory requirements and putting continuous efforts for improvement in quality and productivity.
• Handling manpower, resolving issues, team building, training and development of operating personnel and subordinates.
• Reviewing day to day activities at start of the day and pass on instructions.
• Co-operation during audits.
• Looking day to day production and reviewing requirements of new products.
• Verify all test / inspection reports for raw material, finished goods and in process material and exercise control over quality of finished goods.

Handling of day to day functions related to production and maintenance.

• To maintain the department clean to inform Q.A. chemist for getting approval at various in process stages and for line clearance.
• To Plan day to work properly so as to match the required production target.
• To report department head for daily work done and to report immediately. If at all any abnormalities found.
• To carry out production activity as per the respective Master Formula Records.
• To give the job training to the Production Chemists / Supervisors and other workers in production and evaluate the same from time to time.
• To transfer Finished Goods approved by the Quality Control Department to the Stores.
• Preparing, reviewing, approving and distributing the instructions for the production of intermediates or finished products according to written procedures.
• Making sure that all production deviations are reported and evaluated and that critical deviations are investigated and the conclusions are recorded.
• Making sure that the necessary calibrations are performed and records kept.
• Validation protocols and reports are reviewed.
• Evaluating proposed changes in product, process or equipment.
• Making sure that new and, when appropriate, modified facilities and equipment are qualified.
• Coordinating for process and cleaning validation activity.
• Training and development of manpower.
• To co-ordinate with the F.G. Stores, R.M. Store and P.M, Store for the requirements.
• Active involvement in facing quality audit by vendor audit & regulatory audit
