Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

Design plastic products and components using UGNX-CAD software (2D & 3D).
Develop injection mould designs (core, cavity, runner, gating, cooling, ejection).
Conduct design feasibility & DFM analysis to ensure manufacturability.
Select suitable materials considering product application and moulding process.
Collaborate with tool room & production teams during mould manufacturing.
Support mould trials & troubleshooting to resolve defects and improve quality.
Good knowledge of CTQ and QC instruments
Prepare detailed drawings, BOMs, and documentation for tooling and production.
Optimize design for cost, quality, and cycle time through value engineering.
Interact with customers/clients to understand requirements and provide design solutions.
Ensure compliance with quality standards (ISO/IATF) and maintain design records.
