Assistant Manager_PE

As a Tax Professional at our company, your role will involve the preparation and review of Federal tax returns and informational forms for US based Investment Partnership Clients such as Private Equity, Hedge Funds, and Real Estate. You will be responsible for conducting specific Book to Tax analysis, Taxable Income Calculations, partner allocations, and handling various book to tax adjustments/reclasses. Your proficiency in Go System and other Tax Compliance tools will be essential to assist in preparing electronic filing packages and supporting engagement management. Key Responsibilities: - Preparation and review of Federal tax returns and informational forms for US based Investment Partnership Clients - Conduct Private Equity, Hedge Funds, or Real Estate specific Book to Tax analysis and partner allocations - Handle various Hedge Funds book to tax adjustment/reclasses and international tax filings - Proficient on Go System and other Tax Compliance tools - Assist in preparing electronic filing packages - Support engagement management and monitoring engagement budgets and workflow - Assist in development and performance management of the team - Interact with client management team to gather information and resolve tax-related problems - Support the Engagement Manager in pursuits, proposals, and engagement reporting Qualifications: - Minimum bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with excellent academic results - 3 to 12 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in a Big 4 Firm - Strong tax accounting skills with proficiency in Tax compliance - Proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs, including Excel - Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills - Strong experience in people management - CPA/EA certification will be a plus,
