Job Description

You are a skilled Assurance Assistant Manager with 5-7 years of experience, sought by Sikich to join their team. Your expertise in US GAAP general accounting and financial statement review will be essential as you oversee and execute financial statement audits, guide assigned staff, and ensure compliance with US GAAP. As an integral part of Sikich, a leading global company specializing in Accounting, Advisory, and Technical professional services, you will contribute to the firm's reputation as one of the largest professional services companies in the United States. Leveraging your comprehensive skillsets acquired over years of experience, you will provide transformative strategies to strengthen every dimension of our clients" businesses. Your responsibilities will include planning, risk assessments, testing, and completion of Engagements, acting as in charge of medium and complex engagements, developing time budgets, and coordinating audit requests. You will mentor, train, and supervise junior staff, communicate effectively with Senior Managers/Directors, maintain client relationships, and ensure proper documentation and review of engagements. Additionally, you will design audit approaches, supervise audit teams, attend technical training sessions, and prepare and review final reports. To be successful in this role, you should possess an Inter-CA/ACCA/CPA/CA qualification with 5-7 years of relevant experience. You are expected to be a team player with a proactive and result-oriented approach, have knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and International standards of Auditing (ISA), and demonstrate the ability to prioritize, work on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguity. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office, strong interpersonal and exceptional communication skills, a solid grasp of business and technical issues, and the ability to establish and maintain strong relationships at all levels are necessary.
