Job Description

As an Assurance Assistant Manager at Sikich, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing financial statement audits, guiding assigned staff, and ensuring compliance with US GAAP. Your role will involve planning, risk assessments, testing, and completion of engagements, acting as in charge of medium and complex engagements, developing time budgets, mentoring junior staff, communicating work status to senior management, and maintaining client relationships by focusing on quality and service excellence. Additionally, you will design audit approaches, supervise audit teams, attend technical training sessions, and prepare and review final reports. Key Responsibilities: - Plan, conduct risk assessments, perform testing, and complete engagements - Lead medium and complex engagements - Develop time budgets and coordinate audit requests to meet deadlines - Mentor, train, and supervise junior staff on technical issues - Communicate with Senior Managers/Directors on work status and client issues - Comply with firm/Audit department policies - Maintain client relationships with a focus on quality and service excellence - Ensure proper documentation and review of engagements - Design audit approaches and supervise audit teams - Attend mandatory technical training sessions - Prepare and review final reports Qualifications Required: - Inter-CA/ACCA/CPA/CA with 5-7 years of relevant experience - Team player with a proactive and result-oriented approach - Knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and International standards of Auditing (ISA) - Ability to prioritize, work on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguity - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office - Strong interpersonal and exceptional communication skills - Strong grasp of business and technical issues and industry trends - Ability to communicate clearly at all levels with a proven track record of establishing and maintaining strong relationships In addition to the job role, Sikich offers benefits such as: - Family Health Insurance including parents - Life & Accident Insurance - Maternity/paternity leave - Performance-based incentives - Referral Bonus program - Exam Fee Reimbursement Policy - Indian festival holidays - 5 days working week - Meals facility - Doctor's consultation Join Sikich, a global company specializing in Accounting, Advisory, and Technical professional services, and leverage your skills and experience to provide transformative strategies that strengthen clients' businesses.
