Key Responsibilities Oversee all direct and indirect tax compliance, including Income Tax, GST, TDS, etc. Prepare and review tax returns and filings to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Manage tax assessments, audits, and liaise with tax consultants and authorities. Keep abreast of changing tax laws and assess their impact on the business. Optimize tax liabilities through effective planning and structuring. Supervise day-to-day accounting operations, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing activities. Ensure compliance with accounting standards. Review and finalize financial statements and MIS reports. Coordinate with internal and external auditors for audits and statutory requirements. Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements including Companies Act etc. Maintain proper documentation and records for regulatory inspections and audits. Monitor changes in regulations and ensure timely implementation of necessary changes. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of accountants and tax professionals. Set team goals, conduct performance reviews, and identify training needs. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and operational excellence.
