Assistant Manager - Tax & Audit Team

As an Assistant Manager in the Tax and Audit team, your role involves assisting in the development of audit plans and programs. You will conduct preliminary reviews of client financial statements and internal controls, perform detailed audit procedures, including testing and evaluation of financial information. You will analyze financial statements and reports for accuracy and compliance with applicable standards such as Ind AS, IFRS, etc. Identifying financial discrepancies and providing recommendations for corrective actions will also be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will prepare comprehensive audit documentation and work papers, draft audit reports summarizing findings, risks, and recommendations, and assess the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes. Identifying areas of potential risk and providing recommendations for mitigation are crucial aspects of your role. It is essential to stay updated with changes in accounting and auditing standards and practices while maintaining effective communication with clients throughout the audit process. Addressing client queries and concerns promptly and professionally, as well as providing guidance and support to junior staff members, are also key responsibilities. Qualification Required: - Education qualification: CA - Candidates should possess good communication, coordination, & interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and interact with various stakeholders at all levels. - Candidates should possess in-depth knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards, taxation laws, and regulatory requirements. - Candidates should possess good proficiency in accounting software (such as Tally and SAP), and MS Office. - Experience with Big Four accounting firms or reputable audit firms is preferred. - Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements is a plus. - Knowledge of data analytics and related tools would be beneficial.,
